Due to extensive travels this month, there wasn’t much time for gaming. However, I did manage to get in some painting this quarter, so I can re-purpose the board game minis for minis agnostic games later on.
First up was The Wheel, an expansion from CMON's SMOG: Rise of Moloch for use in The Silver Bayonet and other steampunk games. (Night Creatures to proxy 19th century Napoleonic era goblins. You try finding minis for them 🤣)
Next up were the main characters from the Okko Chronicles board game, to be repurposed for Japanese themed minis agnostic games like Sword Weirdos or even Sellswords and Spellslingers or (heaven forbid!) Forbidden Psalm.
And I also printed up a whole bunch of walls to be used for various purposes. Here, I tested out a CROM dungeon crawl. (I also printed out the player trays).
I also managed to get a neoprene mat locally printed for Port Royal, even if it's not double sided it's cheaper as I don't pay for shipping and taxes.
Lastly here are some 3D printed minis for Port Royal compared with the official Port Royal minis. The mini on the far right will be used as official troops from England or France. I think the Spanish troops were more localised in terms of uniforms, unlike the other 2 nations.
I really wish there'd be SOME standardisation to STL sizes. Sigh.
Anyway, that's my hobbying so far. How's your 2nd quarter 2025 coming along?
Note: look out for reports on Port Royal and maybe some CROM as we head into the middle of 2025. My Talomir Tales campaign is also slowly progressing.
