Still Alive and Kicking!

This post is to just let you folks know — as per the title — that I’m still alive and kicking.

Health issues have cleared up, but in April I fell down a rabbit hole of watching some anime shows that I started a couple of years ago and never finished. After watching all 5 seasons, I had to go read the manga because it continued the storyline from there… then the manga stalled (for some reason) and I had to track down the Light Novels. 

Then I started 2 other anime series and the associated manga and Light Novels... all that took time and that meant I didn’t play a SINGLE GAME in April! At all!

May and June were just 1 game each month and even then they were board games. No minis.

July and August slowly ramped back up to playing games but they were all board games with no minis.

Finally I think I’m ready to re-start miniature gaming again with Nightwatch Blood and Bone.

The minis are all there in the photo as are the 8 Points of Interest markers required for the game. Not going to paint the 6 Deadeye Walkers or my 2 character minis else I’ll procrastinate again!

Why did I go so long without playing? I think I was putting unnecessary pressure on myself to get out a post every week and a video every month. 

I started this blog just for fun and a way to log my games. Not make a career out of it.

So… let’s see where I go from here.
